Glory of Laila

In the outer reaches of the Andemondas galaxy, there is a space station called the "Glory of Laila".

Laila was a human woman abducted from earth hundreds of years ago. She was remarkably adaptable and many an alien fell in love with her, attempting to lure her into a mating relationship.

In the end she chose a simple man. He was a warrior of the Kkrairg. By the time he died, he was wealthy beyond measure and many attribute that to Laila's cunning and devotion to his betterment. She was loyal to the end.

When they had both perished, their eleven children commissioned this monument of her likeness for the exterior of her space station. I still miss Laila. It is in remembrance of her remarkable life that I share this photo today. Suaimhneas síoraí dá hanam.
