To Court a Paragon

When someone wants to court a Paragon (a gloriously beautiful winged person sometimes confused with angels) they hand cut feathers from a fine material, the color of their desired partner's wings, and they stitch them together with great care.
Then, when they next have social occasion to be near their crush, they wear the wings, declaring publicly their sincere intentions towards the potential mate. If the intended acknowledges their efforts by stroking their handcrafted masterpiece, then they've been accepted as a potential partner and the courtship can begin.
It's one of the most sensual things I've ever witnessed in public.
